(1) Create black background paper by stamping image with Perfect Medium and dusting with Perfect Pearls in Perfect Gold.
(2) Create peach background page by stamping with Perfect Medium on the glossy paper then brayer over with Adirondack Ink to create a resist.
(3) Stamp Butterfly on vellum with Perfect Medium and then clear embossing powder. Heat & sponge Adirondack Ink over the vellum.
(4) Create faux hardware with the Eyelet Washers, and Photo Corners die cut papers. You will be creating the faux hardware using layers of die cut paper. For the Bookplate, make 3 die cuts and glue them one on top of the next. For the Eyelet Washers, make 15 die cuts. Glue together 3 layers each, creating 5 total, layered Eyelet Washers. For the Photo Corners, make 12 die cuts.. Glue together 3 layers each, creating 4 total, layered Photo Corners.
(5) Using the Clear Perfect Medium Pad, ink up each die cut. Using Blue Patina and Pewter Perfect Pearls, dust colors onto die cuts until desired gun metal effect is created. Wipe some of the Perfect Pearls off of the hinges with a paper towel on edges of hinges to make it appear aged. Spray with water mister and using the opposite end of the brush, pound indentations into each die cut to give it a hammered metal look. Set die cuts aside.
(6) Create a polished metal faux hardware Bookplate by making 3 die cuts of the Bookplate and glue them one on top of the next.
(7) Shake Clear Ultra Thick Embossing Powder (UTEE) over the bookplate and melting with the Heat It Craft Tool. Sprinkle on additional UTEE as needed to create a nice, smooth surface. While still warm, use an awl or paper clip to clear out holes for brads to be inserted.
(8) Rub Perfect Pearls Pigment Powders over the UTEE surface to create a smooth, polished metal effect.
(9) On cream cardstock stamp memories with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. Cut to fit in Book Plate.
(10) Stamp quote on Cream cardstock, then distress.
(11) Cut edge of a 2 strip of cardstock with Scallop scissors. Stamp dots with the end of an eraser and distress with inks. Attach hardware and tie on ribbon.
(12) Assemble page.
