(1) Make 2 black and white copies of your old photograph on a lazer copier. Reduce or enlarge so that the woman fits within the 1” x 3” dimensions of the Memory Glass.

(2) Cut one photo to 1” x 3” and color with Old Paper Distress Ink using a 1” square of Cut-n-Dry Foam. With glue stick, mount onto a 1” x 3” piece of cardstock.

(3) Working over the cutting mat, take your old book page and place the second copy of your photo over top. With your craft knife, cut out the woman’s dress (you will be cutting through the book page at the same time). Discard the photo remnants, but keep the dress made from the book page. Color this with Tattered Rose Distress Ink using a 1” square of Cut-n-Dry Foam. Edge the entire dress using Vintage Photo Distress Ink, using a 1” square of Cut-n-Dry Foam.

(4) Glue colored dress onto original photo with glue stick. Add star sticker on top of the woman’s head. Sandwich finished art between two pieces of 1” x 3” Memory Glass.

(5) Take your 1” x 3” Memory Frame and open it to place your art & Memory Glass inside. Make sure ring is at top. Close the frame, making sure the tab is inserted into the appropriate slot. Burnish tab down with a Paper Creaser.

(6) Add chain and optional jump ring to create an instant necklace.

Variation
To make a pin: Insert art and Memory Glass into Frame so that ring is on the bottom of photo. Add a jump ring and a charm. Adhere pin back or pin bale.
