(1) Working over the Non-Stick craft
sheet, condition clay and roll out to 1/16” thickness
with pasta machine or roller.
(2) Using the rounded handle end of the
large Perfect Pearls brush, tap repeatedly and randomly
into the slab of clay to create the “hammered” look. Use
the circle cutters to cut 2 circles of each size.
(3) Use the large Perfect Pearls brush
to apply Perfect Pearls to the clay circles. Mostly
Heirloom Gold with a little Green Patina to the largest
circle. Mostly Pewter and a little Blue Patina to the
medium circle and Green Patina and Blue Patina to the
smallest circle.
(4) If desired, carefully flip the
largest circle over and dust with Heirloom Gold Perfect
Pearls with a little Green Patina. This will give the
earring a finished back.
(5) Position eyelets on smallest
circles and push through the clay. Use the coffee
stirrer to make holes in the medium and large circles at
approximately the same distance from the edge as the
holes in the small circle.
(6) Bake according to manufacturer’s
instructions.
(7) Let cool and poke excess clay
through the holes of the eyelets. Gently set eyelet or
glue to hold in place.
(8) Use the Scrapper’s Block to sand
along edges of the circles and gently across the tops to
accentuate the pitting.
(9) Stack circles and attach all three
with a Jump Ringz. Attach 3 more Ringz then an ear wire.
(10) Repeat for other earring.
