(1) Shake Black UTEE in various jars. With a mixing utensil (the blunt end of the Perfect Brush works fine!) place chosen color of Perfect Pearls into jar. Place lid on jar and thoroughly mix so that the Perfect Pearls coats the UTEE. Repeat process with a jar filled with White UTEE, adding Perfect Pearl color pigment.
(2) Take apart chosen Blossoms chipboard. Working with one piece at a time, coat chipboard with Perfect Medium, which works as a great embossing ink!
(3) Using scrap paper, shake on a layer of UTEE/Perfect Pearl. You want to have a thicker coating of the UTEE on the chipboard. Carefully place onto the Non-Stick Craft Sheet.
(4) This next step is where patience pays off. Using the Craft Tool (Ranger’s is ideal because while it gets as hot as other embossing tools, it does not blow as quickly and won’t blow the powder around!), turn it on and keep it high enough above the chipboard so the UTEE/Perfect Pearl mix doesn’t blow off. SLOWLY move the heat tool closer to the chipboard, making sure that you don’t go too fast or the powder mixture will blow off!
(5) You will start to see the mixture melting and the Perfect Pearls color will “pop”! What is happening is that the pigment powder rises to the top; since it was evenly mixed into the dry UTEE, it evenly heats on the chipboard.
(6) Don’t worry if it drips off, as that can be trimmed.
(7) Melt the pieces you want to use. For those pieces you want to nest back together, place them back in place. Squeeze a small amount of Glossy Accents on the back and smoosh it around to a thin coating with your finger and allow to dry on the Non-Stick Craft Sheet.
(8) For one of the pieces, before embossing, punch out a hole with the Crop-o-dile; after embossed and glued together with Glossy Accents, add charm (it was colorized with Adirondack® Alcohol Ink!)
(9) Shake Snow Cap Paint Dabber. Prime and create flow of paint on scrap paper or Non-Stick Craft Sheet. Ink foam stamps and stamp out phrase “the girls” on the left, bottom corner of black canvas.
(10) Attach photo with adhesive.
(11) Determine placement of chipboard on canvas and attach with Glossy Accents.
(12) Glue on metal letters and numbers with small dots of Glossy Accents. Tip: Squeeze a small amount of Glossy Accents on Non-Stick Craft Sheet. Use the QuickStik to pick up letter, lightly dip into Glossy Accents and drag it a little across the Craft Sheet to place a more even, thin layer of Glossy Accents on the back. Place onto canvas and use the pointy end of the tool (it pulls out separately!) to push the letter in place.
