Instructions

(1) On the Inkssentials Non-Stick Craft Sheet, spread out a small layer of Claudine Hellmuth Studio Gesso. Stamp your foam stamp into the puddle of Gesso and then stamp onto the Sticky-Back Canvas. Continue doing this until the entire sheet of Sticky-Back Canvas is filled with your design.

(2) Once dry, select a color of Claudine Hellmuth Studio Paint, and place a dab onto the Non-Stick Craft Sheet. Add water to the paint by spraying the paint on with a few sprays of water from the Mini Mister. You want the paint to become almost a “tea stain” consistency for this technique. Very watery paint will work best for this step.

(3) Next, brush the watery paint mixture onto the Gesso printed Sticky-Back Canvas. You will see that where you stamped your design with the Gesso it now resists the paint, leaving a beautiful pattern! Set aside to dry.

(4) Cut a piece of your decorative fabric so that it is 8½" wide by 11" tall.

(5) Once dry, flip the Sticky-Back Canvas over so the paper backing is facing up. Remove the paper backing and insert a loop of ribbon into the side. Then place your decorative fabric into the adhesive of the canvas. Smooth out any wrinkles in the fabric, and trim any excess.

(6) Place the Sticky-Back Canvas in front of you with the decorative fabric side up.

(7) Fold the Canvas 4½" up from the bottom and 2" from the top to create the purse. Use Multi-Medium to glue the sides of the 4½" portion.

(8) Glue a piece of ribbon to the bottom portion of the flap with Multi-Medium.

(9) Create a flower embellishment from another sheet of Sticky-Back Canvas and glue to front of clutch.

(10) Place Velcro sticky dots to front of clutch to finish.
