Instructions

(1) Fill Mini Mister with water and use to dampen the canvas surface.

(2) Spray the upper two-thirds of the canvas with the Denim Color Wash, and then dab it with some paper towels.  Repeat this process until the desired color is achieved.  Use this same technique to apply the Lettuce Colorwash to the bottom third of the canvas.   Dry the canvas with the Craft Tool or set aside to dry.

(3) Spray old book pages with the various colors of Color Wash.  While still wet, sprinkle some of the pages with sea salt to create a unique, mottled effect!  Let the pages air dry or use the Craft Tool to speed drying time.

(4) Use the circle punches or circle cutter to cut two and one-half inch and one inch circles out of the Color Wash pages.  You will need at least three circles of the same size for each flower.

(5) Fold each circle into quarters to find the center.  While the circles are folded, use your decorative scissors to trim the edges to give the flowers a different look!

(6)
Use the wire cutters to cut five- eight inch pieces of the sixteen gauge wire, and three-eight inch pieces of the twenty gauge wire.

(7) Twist a small loop at the end of each wire length using the round nose pliers.

(8)
Poke the straight end of one of the wires through the center of one of the circles, then slide the circle all the way up to the wire loop.  Use the larger circles for the larger wire, and the smaller circles for the smaller wire.  Add a drop of Glossy Accents at the center of the circle, then gently squeeze the center of the circle up around the loop from behind, slightly wrinkling the paper.  Continue adding circles of the same color in this manner, until the flower is the fullness you like!

(9) Cut leaf shapes out of some folded green pages, using Glossy Accents to adhere them to the wire stems.

(10) Draw a sun and butterfly onto some of the Color Wash pages with the fine tip black marker and cut out.

(11) Cut a 5 inch piece of the 20 gauge wire, bend in half, and use the round nose pliers to curl the ends, creating the butterfly antennae.

(12) Adhere the sun, the butterfly, and the antennae to canvas with Glossy Accents.

(13) Arrange the flowers on the canvas and trim any excess wire from the stems. Glue down torn strips of Lettuce and Espresso colored pages along the bottom third of the canvas and around the sides, covering the wires stems as needed.

(14) Put a few drops of glossy Accents behind the head of each flower to adhere it to the canvas.
