(1) Paint
all portions on the birdhouse that will NOT have
grout with the Pool Adirondack Acrylic Paint Dabber
(indented areas of roof, perch, and edges).
(2) Paint
the Faux Mosaic Grout around the body of the
birdhouse as well as the tops of the “shingles” on
the roof. Let dry completely.
(3) Cut out several daisies
from the Zsiage Frosted Daisies Paper. Swipe
the Pool Adirondack Acrylic Paint Dabber around
the edges to make each flower stand out.
(4) Cut or punch out several
circles from the Zsiage Starry Night paper.
(5) When the grout has
dried, apply a small amount of Pool and Willow
paint next to each other on a square of Cut
n’ Dry Foam and dab it on the grout to
add some color variations. On the roof
of the birdhouse, more Willow paint was used
for a lighter effect.
(6) Paint
the Faux Mosaic Glue on the back of each circle
and place next to each other around the hole
in the center of the birdhouse; glue over the
top of each circle as you would with decoupage.
(7) Paint the Glue on the back of
each flower and adhere in a random pattern around
the center of the birdhouse, followed by Glue on
the top and let dry.
(8) Finally,
apply the Glaze to each piece of paper on the
birdhouse. Note: the round shape of the birdhouse
is a challenge. To avoid
the glaze dripping, apply the glaze in sections
and rotate as each section dries to apply more.
