(1)
Carefully ink the
beak, feet and breast
of the large bird stamp using the Nick Bantock Vermillion Lacquer
ink pad, and then cover the rest of the stamp with the Nick Bantock
Prussian Blue ink pad and stamp it onto a piece of white cardstock.
(2)
Use the Niji waterbrush
to “pull” color from the stamped area of the image
into the unstamped
areas. The inks from the Nick Bantock
Collection work beautifully
with this technique!
(3)
Cut the bird out
using the X-Acto
knife.
(4)
Stamp the phrase
onto a piece of white
cardstock with the
Prussian Blue inkpad, and then tear the edges of the cardstock.
(5) Working on the Craft Sheet, use the Ink Blending
Tool and the Prussian
Blue inkpad to add color to the torn edges of the cardstock.
(6)
With the Vermillion
Lacquer inkpad, cover
the front of the card with the large floral stamp image and use
the Ink Blending Tool to ink the edges of the card with the same
color.
(7)
Mount the phrase
to the card with
double stick tape, adhere the dried flowers with a few small dabs
of the Matte Accents, and then mount the bird to the card with
the square Pop It Shapes.
