Creating the Background:
(1) Assemble a small section of jigsaw
puzzle.
(2) Ink the puzzle pieces with Big
& Bossy Two Tone Embossing Ink Pad, using the clear
embossing ink side of the pad and a piece of Cut n’
Dry Foam to apply the ink.
(3) Cover inked puzzle pieces with
clear UTEE. Note: be sure to pour over an embossing
tray or clean sheet of paper so the excess UTEE can
be returned to container. Tap off excess powder.
(4) Set puzzle pieces onto
non-stick craft sheet and emboss with heat tool
until UTEE is melted.
(5) While the piece is still hot,
sprinkle another layer of UTEE and heat.
(6) Repeat this process until you
have 3-4 layers of UTEE built up onto the section of
puzzle pieces. Let cool.
(7) Punch three holes in the bottom
of the piece and set eyelets through the holes.
(8) Tie ribbons through the
eyelets.
(9) Mount UTEE puzzle piece onto a
2-1/4” x 4-3/4” rectangle of yellow patterned paper
edged with Walnut Stain and Aged Mahogany Distress
Inks. Use a strong double-stick tape.
(10) Mount onto 4” x 6” rectangle of
Paisley patterned paper inked with Walnut Stain and
Aged Mahogany Distress Inks.
(11) Add three antique gold tacks
to the left of the UTEE piece.
(12) Attach fabric “thank you”
label with double-stick tape to the left of the
tacks.
(13) Mount with foam tape onto a
4-1/2” x 6-1/2” rectangle of Burgundy cardstock,
edges inked with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.
(14) Adhere onto 5” x 7” Yellow
Cardstock card with the edges inked with Walnut
Stain and Aged Mahogany Distress Inks to complete.
