Materials List-
Adirondack® Alcohol Inks - Red Pepper, Stream, Lettuce, Butterscotch, Wild Plum
Inkssentials™ Non-Stick Craft Sheet
Inkssentials™ White Gloss Paper - 8 and one-half by 11 inches, 2 sheets
Archival™ Ink - Jet Black
• Rubberstamp “Expect Great Things” – River City Rubber Works
• Black cardstock
• Scissors or paper cutter
• Glue Stick

Instructions

(1) Use Inkssentials Non-Stick Craft Sheet to protect work surface.  On a sheet of White Gloss Paper, drip various colors of Adirondack Alcohol ink on half of the paper.

(2) Lift up the other side of the paper (not colored with the ink), and lightly fold over the inked side.  Lightly burnish with fingers so that both sides of the paper are colored.  Open up paper, you now have a full sheet of alcohol inked  background paper.  If you want to fill in any white space further with color, repeat the steps with Butterscotch or Lettuce.

(3) Take it one step further by dripping additional splatters of color randomly on the paper and let dry.

(4) Cut paper in half.  One will be used for this card, the other half can be used for another card.  Set aside.

(5) Ink “Expect Great Things” image with Jet Black Archival Ink and stamp onto White Gloss Paper.  Trim around the stamped phrase.  Cut a larger rectangle out of black cardstock to frame the phrase.  Glue phrase onto the black rectangle and then on the alcohol inked background paper.

(6) Frame Alcohol inked paper with White Gloss Cardstock and glue.  Then glue onto folded black cardstock to create a card.
