(1) With Scrapper’s Block, sand edges of postcard in a cross-hatch effect (criss-cross).
(2) Using Distress Inks and Cut n Dry Foam squares, color edges of postcard to age. Use a circular motion beginning on the Non-Stick Craft Sheet and work into the postcard.
(3) Using Matte Accents pick out portions of postcard image to “mattify." Start flow of Matte Accents on scrap paper to remove any air bubbles that may be in the applicator nozzle. “Draw” around outside of selected image with Matte Accents and fill in. Repeat with all images desired.
(4) Take 3 buttons and adhere to bottom left of postcard with a drop of Glossy Accents. Set postcard aside to dry.
(5) On tan cardstock using Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink, stamp background image. Distress edges with Cut n Dry Foam squares just like Step 2. Repeat distressing with the brown cardstock.
(6) Stamp Happiness Is . . . image with Jet Black Archival Ink on tan cardstock. Cut out only the lighthouse portion of the image. Color lighthouse with Cranbery Adirondack Pigment Pen. Cut out.
(7) Distress lighthouse with Cut n Dry Foam and Distress Inks. Cut out larger piece of brown cardstock to frame lighthouse and distress as well.
(8) With Crackle Accents, fill in lighthouse to create a crackle effect. Let dry.
(9) Layer tan cardstock to brown cardstock. Layer postcard to tan cardstock.
(10) Using Pop It Squares, adhere lighthouse to postcard.
(11) Notice how the postcard has an interesting effect of textures because of the Matte Accents and the sanding. An overall shiny surface has features on it that are matte and textured focal points!
